How to sign up to the Melio app

You can sign up for a Melio account straight from your mobile. Here's how:

1. Once you’ve downloaded the Melio app, you’ll see some introduction screens. At the bottom of each screen you’ll see the choice to Login or Sign Up.
2. Tap Sign Up.
3. You’ll have four choices:

• Sign up with Company email & Password
• Sign up with your Apple account.
• Sign up with your Google account.
• Sign up with your Intuit account

However you sign up, you’ll need to add a few more details to finish creating your account.

Sign up with Company email & Password

1. Add your Company email and create a Password. Your password must include 1 number, uppercase letter and symbol.
2. Tap Sign up.
3. We’ll send you an email with a 6-digit code. Enter the code on your mobile  screen.

Sign up with your Apple account

1. Tap Apple.
2. Apple will ask you to confirm that you are signing up for the Melio app using your Apple ID. 
3. Add a Company email address and tap Continue.
4. We’ll send you an email with a 6-digit code. Enter the code on your mobile  screen.

Sign up with your Google account

1. Tap Google.
2. Choose an existing account or create a new one.
3. Google will ask you to enter your password to confirm that you’re signing up for the Melio app. 
4. Depending on your Google security, you may need to complete further verification steps. 

Sign up with your Intuit account

1. Tap Sign in with Intuit
2. You’ll see a pop up for you to allow Melio to access your Intuit account. Tap Continue.
3. You’ll be redirected to your Intuit sign-in page. Enter your Email or User ID, and Password.
4. Intuit will require further verification steps.

Complete your account set-up

Just a few more questions about your business to finish creating an account:

1. Fill in your First name, Last name and Mobile number. 
2. Tap Continue.
3. Add your Company name.
4. Search for your industry by tapping Company Industry. 
5. Tap Continue.
6. Let us know where your company is located. Tap Company address to start searching for your address, then tap Done.

Note: Company address

Can’t find your address by searching?  Tap Use a different address to manually fill in your address, then tap Done.

That's it! Your company is now registered to Melio and ready to start making payments straight from the Melio app or from Melio.com.

Tip: Setting up Face ID or Touch ID

Straight after sign-up or the first time you sign-in to your account, you’ll have the chance to set-up Face ID or Touch ID. You can also set it up anytime from your app settings - Security & Privacy.
