You’ve received an email that your customer has paid you using Melio. Here’s how to securely and successfully accept the payment:
1. You’ll get an email from Melio that looks like this.
2. In the email, click ACCEPT PAYMENT.
3. Decide how you want to receive this payment - directly to your bank account via ACH bank transfer or a paper check.
- ACH bank transfer- takes 2-3 business days.
- Paper check- takes 5-7 business days.
a. ACH bank transfer: Fill in your routing number and account number. Click SUBMIT AND ACCEPT PAYMENT.
You’ll see that your payment is on its way to your bank account and the estimated delivery date.
b. Paper check: Fill in your mailing address. Click SUBMIT AND ACCEPT PAYMENT.
You’ll see that your payment is on its way to you as a paper check and the estimated delivery date.
That’s it! Once you’ve accepted the payment, your customer will get an email from us letting them know you’ve accepted their payment.
