You can sync your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Business Central) to your Melio accounts receivables platform, to save time and reduce errors.
By syncing Melio Get Paid and Business Central, you can:
- Remove the need to register receivables on more than one platform
- Import invoices from Business Central to Melio, along with corresponding customer information
- Automatically reconcile incoming payments from payment requests sent via Melio
Note: Updating invoices
Once synced, any changes to invoices still needs to be done in your Business Central accounting software.
There are two ways to sync Melio accounts receivable and Business Central:
Sync Business Central to Melio from Get Paid
1. Click Get Paid in the left sidebar.
2. Click Add invoices.
3. You’ll be given the option of how you want to add your invoices. Click Connect your accounting software.
4. Select Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and click Connect.
5. You'll be taken to your Business Central login page to allow Melio to install an extension and access your data. Once you’ve given Melio permission, you’ll be taken back to Melio to finish the sync.
6. Now match your bank details in Melio with those in Business Central. Click the arrow next to Select account and choose an account from the list or add a new one. Click Link my bank account.
7. You’ll be notified once the sync is complete.
8. After the sync is complete, you can view all of your customer invoices in Get Paid.
9. On the settings page, click Accounting Software Sync to see that Dynamics 365 is connected.
Note: Automatic sync
The sync will happen automatically every hour. You can also trigger it on demand by clicking Sync now.
Sync Business Central to Melio from settings
- Click Settings section in the left sidebar. Choose Accounting Software Sync.
2. Select Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central by clicking Connect.
3. You'll be taken to your Business Central login page to allow Melio to install an extension and access your data. Once you’ve given Melio permission, you’ll be taken back to Melio to finish the sync.
4. Now match your bank details in Melio with those in Business Central. Click the arrow next to Select account and choose an account from the list or add a new one. Click Link my bank account.
5. You’ll be notified once the sync is complete.
6. Once the sync is complete, you’ll be able to view all of your customer invoices in Get Paid.
7. On the settings page, click Account Software Sync to see Dynamics 365 is connected.
