Import invoices from your Amazon Business account

Automatically importing your Amazon Business invoices to Melio saves you time, effort and reduces manual errors. Once connected, you’ll find your invoices under the Bills tab or the Vendors tab under Amazon Business, where you can easily pay them.

Melio gives you payment flexibility to pay how you want, while we already have Amazon’s remittance details to allow for seamless payment. Melio also offers international payments, batch payments and a two-way sync with QuickBooks Online– for effortless reconciliation across all platforms.

Note: Is it possible to use credit memos to pay my Amazon Business invoices?

Currently, Melio does not offer the use of credit memos to pay Amazon Business invoices.

Note: Will importing invoices affect my accounting software sync?

You’re able to import invoices while staying synced with your accounting software and there’s no need to disconnect.

In this article:

  1. Connect Amazon Business from your Bills tab.
  2. Connect to Amazon Business from your Settings.
  3. Disconnect your Amazon Business.

Connect from your Bills tab

  1. Sign in to your Melio account. 
  2. In Pay, go to the Bills tab.
  3. Click Import bills (above your bills, on the right of the screen).

Note: Adding your first bill?

If you don’t have any existing bills in your Bills tab, you’ll see the import button in the middle of the screen.


4. Select Connect accounts.

5. Click Connect Amazon Business.

6. Sign in to Amazon Business using your credentials.

7. Click Allow to let Melio access your account. Connecting might take a minute.

8. That's it! Your Amazon Business is now connected and invoice attachments from the last 30 days will be added to your Bills and Vendors tabs. Any new invoices will be automatically imported. 

Connect from Settings

You can integrate your Amazon and Melio accounts from Settings. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your Melio account. 
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Sync and import.
  4. Under Amazon Business, click Connect.

7. That's it! Your Amazon Business is now connected and invoice attachments from the last 30 days will be added to your Bills and Vendors tabs. Any new invoices will be automatically imported. 

Disconnect from Settings

Want to stop automatically importing Amazon Business invoices? Just follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Melio account. 
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Sync and import.
  4. Under Amazon Business, click Disconnect.
