By signing up to Melio using your QuickBooks Online (QBO) credentials, you can sync both accounts. This saves you time by eliminating dual entry while helping you keep your Melio and accounting software in sync for easy reconciliation.
How do I sign up for Melio using my QBO credentials?
If you’re new to Melio or already signed up with the same email you use to sign in to Intuit, follow these simple steps:
- Go to our sign-up page and click Sign in with Intuit.
- Enter your Intuit username and password then click Sign in.
- On the next screen click Authorize to let Melio access your Intuit profile information.
- Click Connect to allow the sync between Melio and Intuit.
If you’re already signed up for Melio with a different email address, just sign in and set up your sync manually through settings.
Is the sync with QuickBooks Online available to all subscription plans?
Core and Boost subscribers enjoy unlimited sync between their Melio and QuickBooks Online accounts.
Go subscribers can sync only the first 10 payments between their Melio and QuickBooks Online accounts. Whether these payments are synced from QuickBooks Online to Melio or vice versa, and whether they are payables or receivables, only 10 payments will be balanced between both accounts.
After this limit is reached, payments made in Melio will not sync to QuickBooks Online, and pending payment bills from QuickBooks Online will not sync to Melio.
What will I see once I sync my QBO with Melio?
- Vendor & bill details: Melio will automatically collect all your bills, invoices, and vendor information.
- Outgoing payments for easy reconciliation: Once you send a payment through Melio, the status will be updated in your accounting software for seamless reconciliation.
- Incoming payments: When you send a payment request through Melio and the invoice is paid in full, it’s synced back to QuickBooks and marked as paid.
